What a FABULOUS FRIDAY it is today! Not only do I have a Fast & Fabulous project in under 5 minutes to share with you, but Stampin' Up! is offering their May NATIONAL SCRAPBOOKING MONTH promotion early - WOO HOO!!

First, I have my project to share with you. It features the new Strength & Hope stamp set (w118100 $17.95 - c123660 $13.95) from the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog. $2 from the sale of each stamp set will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. You can begin ordering from the Summer Mini Catalog on Sunday!

1. Die cut the tag from the Two Tag Sizzix die (115954 $21.95) but DO NOT fold.

2. From the top of the tag, measure & score 1 1/4" and 3"

3. Fold the flap down & the bottom up.

4. Decorate as desired.

5. Adhere the sides of the bottom flap to form pocket.

Summer Mini Sneek Peek

Good Morning, Stampers!

Fun Grad Card

Good Morning, Stampers!

This fun Graduation "pull-card" was one of the cards we made in my Spring Happenings class I held last night. The money hides a special graduation message & the panel then slips into the top of the black pocket.

The Cherry Cobbler circle slips on top of the pocket to hold in place.

1. Start with a piece of cardstock that measures 7 x 7 1/2" (I used Basic Black)

2. Along the 7" side, score at the 1/2" & 3 3/4" marks.

3. Adhere the flap and along the bottom of the pocket.

4. For the insert, cut a piece of cardstock measuring 3 1/8 x 7 3/8" (I used Whisper White)

5. Decorate as desired. For this card I used the Ornate Blossom (117094 $9.95) and the Happy Greetings stamp set (w123311 $18.95 - c123313 $14.95) from the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog available May 1st.

Mother's Day Card

Multiplying like rabbits!

Good Morning, Stampers!

I have a cute little Easter treat to share with you today. These little boxes were made using the Petal Card punch (119273 $17.95). It is a perfect little size to hold candy treats like the Hershey's Miniatures...

If you have the petal card punch and notice when you punch that the piece doesn't completely punch thru the cardstock, I have a little tip to share with you. Instead of punching where you would normally squeeze to punch, place your palm on the top of the punch & press. It will not only punch thru, but it will also score the cardstock nicely.Happy Stampin'!

This weeks 3/$5 class theme is Birthdays. Here is one of the cards we will be making in the class. This card uses several pieces of scrap cardstock (we all have some laying around!) stamped & tied with a simple ribbon knot.

Today's post is a 3x3 notecard featuring the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set (111672 $18.95) and our Mini Square envelopes (107309 $7.50/40) Did you know these are in the catalog?? :o) The little butterfly comes from the Beautiful Wings embosslit (118138 $11.95)that not only cuts but embosses at the same time! The Linen thread (104199 $4.50) is a great natural-looking final touch!

Fast & Fabulous Friday

Good Morning, Stampers! So often I get asked the question "How did you get started with Stampin' Up?" Well, way back in 1998, I went to my first "stampin' party". From the moment I made my first make & take project, I was hooked! Needless to say after all these years, I am still hooked! The make & take project we made was a big "wow" for me. A simple mini Kit Kat bar stamped on a piece of paper & wrapped around the candy bar. GENIUS, I thought!! Haha... The stamp set we used was this little gingerbread cutie: That Christmas, I think I made several dozen of these candy bars - lol! So, for today's Fast & Fabulous Friday project, I thought I would revisit that project. Take a look - too good to eat, huh?

1. Measure the candy bar (lots of variety's can be used) & cut your Sunny Garden DSP (119831 $9.95) to size. Adhere to candy bar.

2. Stamp the bunny from Forest Friends (113748 $14.95) onto Whisper White cardstock & punch out using a 1 1/4" circle punch.

3. Punch a wide oval from the Sunny Garden DSP.

4. Adhere bunny to oval.

5. Punch a few flowers from the Itty Bitty punch pack (118309 $16.95)

6. Adhere pearls to flowers.

7. Glue a small cottonball to tail.

Simply Adorned Jewelry Boxes....

Good Morning, Stampers!

I have saved all of my little Chocolate Chip boxes that come with the Simply Adorned Jewelry line ( I won't tell you how many I have - lol!) thinking that someday I will be able to use them. Well, I finally had an opportunity and this is what I came up with...


I decorated the outside using the A Good Egg stamp set (114974 $23.95) and some retired Designer Series Paper. Inside, I took four Hershey's nuggets (they fit perfectly!!) & wrapped the them with strips of coodrinating papers. A nice little Easter treat for someone special!
