Fast & Fabulous Friday - Decor Elements Style!

Good Morning, Stampers!

Today is Friday & that means it is time for another Fast & Fabulous project!

Yesterday, I showed you the Decor Elements on pumpkins. For today's project, I selected the spider design from the Spooky Things (120909/122296 $14.95). I purchased a green dinner plate from my local Dollartree (LOVE this store!) and added the spider to the center. Voila! A great, inexpensive Halloween decoration!

While at Convention this past July, this project was shown by the very talented, Brent Steele using our Decor Elements Spooky Things (120909/120296 $14.95) from pg. 8 of the Holiday Mini Catalog.. I fell in love with it & just had to make one for myself! I added some Sizzix die cut Leaves #2(113459 $15.95) and embossed them with the Finial Press embossing folder (115963 $7.95) for a bit of added texture.

Halloween Placemat

Today's post is a project I made yesterday using Halloween fabric & our exclusive Sizzix Pennant die (113483 $39.95) I had the house to myself for several hours (which happens maybe once every 3 months) and I was in a 'sewing" mood. I love how easy it was to put together using the pre-cut fabric pieces. The Big Shot is such a time saver!

Here it is all finished! The jar is decorated with the Decor Elements.

Today is Friday and that means it is time for another Fast & Fabulous project you can complete in under 5 minutes!

Take a look at this card - isn't it beautiful? Hard to believe it took just minutes to make!

The secret is our 12x12 Designer Series Paper - Deck the Halls pg. 18 (120180 $9.95) from the Holiday Mini Catalog. It is not just for scrapbooking. I simply cut out a portion of the paper, adhered it to a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock (LOVE this color!). Tied a quick knot (because most of you know I can not tie bows) with the Chantilly Crochet Trim (118480 $6.95) & popped up a sentiment from the Seasonal Sentiments pg. 15 (w120821 $15.95 - c121130 $11.95). Added a few pearls and

~ TA DA ~ a Fast & Fabulous card in just 3 minutes!

Stamp Club - Halloween Card

Today's card is one of the projects my club members made this week at our monthly meeting.

Stamp Club Swap Card

Good Morning, Stampers!
Today's card is my swap for tonight's Stamp Club. I used Crumb Cake Craft* ink & my acrylic block for the base of the card. I then stamped the leaf fron the Paisley Prints stamp set (w120817 $16.95 - c121121 $12.95) in More Mustard and then lightly sponged the top with Bravo Burgundy before stamping onto cardstock. I ran More Mustard & Bravo Burgundy thru the Sizzix die cut machine using the Leaves #2 die (113459 $15.95) then ran the leaves thru the Perfect Polka Dot (117335 $7.95) & Manhattan Flower (114517 $7.95) embossing folders. I finished it off with the sentiment in Crumb Cake Craft*. *Remember to emboss or heat set craft to speed drying time~

Disney Mini Scrapbook

Back to School!

Today is the first day back to school for us - YIPEE!! To keep with tradition, I created a little "welcome back" gift for Grayson's teacher. (Can't hurt to start the year off with a few bonus points, right?? lol!) I hope she likes :o)

The gift on the left is a 2" binder clip altered to hold little notes. The gift on the right is a post-it note pad. Grayson - 4th grade

A new tongue twister? No, it is my new Friday feature "Fast & Fabulous in under 5"!
Each Friday, I will bring you a quick & easy (Fast & Fabulous) card that you can create in under 5 minutes! Here is the first of many to come!

The card features the Fifth Avenue Floral (113734 - $24.95) stamp set along with Baja Breeze & Crumb Cake ink. This is one of my favorite color combinations! I did a little masking so that it appears that some of the flowers are behind others... I topped it off with a Whisper White 5/8" organza ribbon bow (114319 - $5.95/15 yds) & a little tag from the Tiny Tags stamp set (w118091 $22.95 - c118592 $16.95) in Baja Breeze cardstock & Crumb Cake ink.
