Wacky Wednesday Class

Revamp the Egg Basket Challenge!

Here is a photo from a basket I made a long time ago. (check out that date!) The picture is dark & a bit hard to see, but the idea of the Easter Egg Basket is still a cute one. I used a retired Stampin' Up! color called Mint Melody and a retired stamp set called Tags & More. I thought I was such a good stamper back then- lol!! Lego Rock Band Man

Yes, as difficult as it was, I was not able to use very many stamps for this card! When my son told me he wanted a Lego RockBand theme for his 9th Birthday, I searched everywhere for lego stamps. I had to compromise on these Quick Kutz dies & create my own lego man head. Not too bad. The stars are stamped in Whisper White Craft (101731) & Seeing Stars (115352). A bit of work, but seeing his smiling face made it all worth it! I think I will send a suggestion to Stampin' Up! for some building block stamps!! Enjoy & thanks for looking!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Look what I made with a little bit of fabric quarters! I am not a sewing person, but the Sizzix machine & the Stampin' Up! Flower Folds die (115970 pg. 201)) makes me look like one! There is actually no sewing for this project, just a little hot glue! Simply cut 4 flowers from each of the four flowers on the die. Hot glue them together along with a bit of twall. Add a pin to the back & a button/charm to the front. For this pin, I added a stamped shamrock to the back of a glass stone with a little Crystal Effects. Whaaa Laaaa! Each of my Stamp Club members received one of these from me as my March swap! Hope the Luck O' the Irish is with you today!

Quick Birthday Card

I needed a fast birthday card this morning. Even with the embossing, it took LESS THAN 5 MINUTES to make! It features the Nouveau Chic designer paper (115670 - pg. 160) and the Extreme Skateboard (115179 - pg. 80) stamp. Designer papers are great in a pinch!

Chocolate Funny Bunny

This is my version of the chocolate bunny with his missing ears & tail. Club members made this card at our last meeting. I LOVED how some of them did their own thing - these ladies are full of creativity!

St. Patty's Day

This is one of the cards that my monthly club members made this past week. I love to incorporate my favorite products - in this case the scallop heart embosslit - into something other than the obvious. Ta dah - a SHAMROCK!!!
