Valentine Class

Here is a peek at what we will be making at the Valentine Class on Monday. The cards feature new products from the Occasion Mini Catalog and are perfect for your special valetines. The Loads of Love (115022) treat is held together with ribbon and a lollipop & is filled with kisses. The Love You Much (113756) box is filled with little square chocolates. Still no computer....

I HAVE A VIRUS!

Well, my computer does...I have been unable to retrieve my email the last couple days. It is a problem I have been working on but have had no luck. If you have emailed me and not heard from me, this is why and I apologize. The virus came in the form of an email attachment and I do not want to pass it on to you. Matchbox Die Idea

By omitting the slide tops and adding a foldover top, I was able to make this Valentine treat box using the Stampin' Up! Matchbox Sizzix die (114890). The flowers on the top were made using the Vintage Vogue (117690/118598) stamp set from the Occasions mini Catalog along with the exclusive Hostess Only Level 1 stamp set Holiday Best(115364) from pg. 13 of the IB & C. The Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder (117335) adds just enough texture and the 1/2" Real Red striped grosgrain ribbon (110714) is perfect for the closure. Fill the boxes with Ghiradelli chocolates (it can hold up to 2 in each box or Hershey nuggets (4 on each side). Either way, it's chocolate & it's ALL GOOD!!

See & Feel the texture!

See what a little bit of felt can do? I ran my felt through the Big Shot using the Flower Layers w/ Leaf die (113470). I popped out the centers of each flower @ mixed them up a bit. The pink silk ribbon is a new item from the Occasions mini catalog (pg 27) and comes in lots of colors. You get approx. 15 yds of 5/8" ribbon for only $8.95 - what a deal! I also used the Stampin' Up! Textured impressions Folder Petals-A-Plenty (#116824) from the Holiday Mini Catalog. It's not just for Christmas! I finished it off with a little faux stitching using the white Signo gel pen (105021).

Valentine Treat

Good Sunday Morning to you!

Here is a little Valentine treat that features the exclusive Stampin' Up! Matchbox Die (114890). I trimmed off a portion of the top to form a fold-top rather than the slide-top as it is intended to do. I also used the NEW Stampin' Up! embosslit Scallop Heart of Hearts (117332) from the Occasions Mini-Catalog and the Love You Much stamp set (113756) from the IB &C. It fits a Ghiradeli chocolate perfectly! YUM!
