I'M BACK!!!

I have returned safely from convention and all I can say is WOW!!!!!

I had such an incredible time with my downline, upline, sideline & no-line! (not sure what you call all the great new demonstrators I met) I can't wait to share all of the details with you over the next few days! Prizes, free stamps, make & takes, and more! It is GREAT to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! I will start today by showing you one of the swaps I made to trade with fellow demonstrators. It is a butterfly that showcases the Impression Embossing technique.
Isn't it beautiful? Here is how you can make it:
1. Select a diecut image. I used the Butterfly Die cut here. Diecut from chipboard.
2. Using Chocolate Chip (any pigment ink will work), cover the entire piece of chipboard. Emboss with Glassy Glaze embossing powder.
3. Repeat the embossing step for a total of 4 times.
4. On the last time, take a stamp of your choice (I used the stamp from Elements of Style) & while still hot, smoosh the stamp onto the embossing. Press hard. Leave stamp in place til cool. Remove stamp once cooled.
5. Using your finger, gently & lightly brush gold shimmer paint on top. Be careful not to press to hard or it will end up in the embossed area...
6. Embellish with wire & jewels....
ENJOY!!
