Shoe Box Swap Cards

We had such a great time at our Shoe Box Swap last night! I love how everyone's style is so unique. We will definitely be doing it again real soon!


Rachel's card: I am a BIG FAN of stars! The glittered label stars & shaker was a big hit!

Jacci's card (with Dianne's help): I love the simplicity of this card. Quick and easy and great for any occasion! I miss these In-Colors already!

Dianne's card: These pumpkins are so adorable! I love this card because it will be great for any fall occasion - even a birthday!

Millie's card: Isn't this just stunning? Millie had a piece of Basic Grey paper that she was trying to duplicate and I think the results are great! First we stamped the script in Going Gray. Then using daubers, we added color to the edge of the squares. She even threw in a bit of Pearl Ex. on the pen - gorgeous!

Mary's card: This card is so elegant! I love the look of the vellum cardstock with the embossing folder. The gems added the perfect touch!

Shoe Box Swap

Daisy Gift Bags

I created these gift bags for my Niece's Bridal Shower today. It is a daisy theme and these will be used to hold prizes for the games that are planned. The Pick a Petal stamp set worked great! I hope she likes them!

Open House Make & Takes

My Open House was a HUGE success! Thanks to all who attended!

As promised, here are the make & takes that I offered: This first one uses the new peacock stamp from the Ronald McDonald House stamp set Very Thankful & the fun new set Razzle Dazzle. The flourish around the peacock matches the flourish from Razzle Dazzle just perfectly! Also included is the new Designer Series paper Cottage Wall (LOVE IT!!) and the new In-Color Rich Razzleberry. Of course, my card would not be complete without a bit of Dazzling Diamonds glitter!

The second make & take was this holiday tag. It is hard to see the details, but the navy scallop was embossed using the new textured impressions plate Finial Press - very elegant! The snowflake is from the under $10 Simple Snowflake & it coordinates PERFECLTY with our new Snowflake Punch!. Be sure to check out the under $10 page at the back of the catalog - there are some FABULOUS products hiding there!! I finished it off with a bit of silver embossing on the greeting from the Sincere Salutations stamp set.
